I just did a post on the max order quantity and thought it worth mentioning the min order quantity. This will be something you have to calculate based on what your suppliers will accept or what your production costs are and so essentially the minimum economic order quantity to produce the goods. This is a quick walk through of the effect in planning.

What can be done for minimum order quantity at the level of product variant? Example: Common pant sizes can be ordered in multiples of one but unusual big and tall sizes may not be stocked by supplier and require orders to be specified in multiples of six. Thanks.

Hi GeeJay
Min order quantity, multiples, max order quantity only goes down to the site\warehouse level for purchase, inventory, sale so it applies for all variants. For planning purposes you can setup a max/min at the variant level in the item coverage. https://organicax.com/2015/09/17/max-min-item-coverage-setup-for-variants/.
The min order, multiples etc at the variant is a customization customers have done, as well some ISV’s that have distribution extensions for AX have added these.
