D365 warehouse mobile device apps

When the advanced warehouse was released in AX2012 R3 customers had the ability to use the HTML based WMDP interface to interact with the warehouse. In D365 for operations up to the fall release you have the same interface. There was an announcement a couple of weeks ago about a new option that gives you a chance to use more of the capabilities of modern devices in the warehouse that are running windows or android. There is now an app available. You can read more about it here

As you can see in the post this gives a fresh interface adds from color and additional user interaction options.

Do you know if the Warehouse Mobile device app will allow log ins to different warehouses across multiple companies?

  In the new app you have a company parameter in the setup so this could be changed in the configuration to use a different company. Consider it the company switch. The user wouldn’t see multiple pieces or work in the same list from different companies.
