Setting up an item for manual batch numbering – non wms

If you want to use batch number in inventory you have a lot of functionality that you can leverage. There are a lot of options and parameters for configuring processes. If you manually assign batch numbers to inventory then you can configure an item to allow this. You also need to consider you overall purchase and sales process, for example if you are using the new warehouse module in R3.

In this example we’ll configure an item for use with manual batch processing and not setup for using the new warehouse module.
