Dynamics AX has a quality control module which has a nice capability of being able to make an association between a business document and a quality order. This makes is useful to prompt operators to enter quality information in a process.

In the quality module you can configure a basic test and allow an operator to enter values. There isn’t a connection to external lab equipment or testing equipment to automatically  gather that test response but customers/partners have build these sort of integrations if you want the automatic test capture.
