How you organize you work and execute it depends on the size of your operations, skills and knowledge of the warehouse team. In AX2012 R3 with the new warehouse module RF menu capabilities it gives you some flexibility how you set the functions the workers have available. If workers know what they are doing they work could be user directed meaning they do what they see needs to be done. Or work could be system directed meaning the system will just tell the worker what should be done next.
