Sales agreements setup

Sales agreements was a new feature added in AX2012. AX has always had trade agreements which is the approach to setting up prices and discounts etc. But for having a concept of a “contract” sales agreements fulfill that role in AX2012. They can also be considered blanket orders. This video gives you a quick overview of setting up and using a sales agreement.

  1. Hey Lachla, nice video. i have a question though…..
    Is it possible to create an agreement and have multiple customers using it? i would love to do that because i have lots of customers and creating an agreement for each of them is just not practical.
    Your help would be greatly appreciated.

  2. Also when i tried to create a sales order from the agreement i created (following the steps in your video) my Related Information->Release Order Line is grayed out so i have to reenter the line one by one again. Any idea why this is happening?
