In a previous post we had a look at the new Excel add-in. This has always been a great tool for getting data in and out of Dynamics AX. With this release the architecture has been updated which gives a better framework for validating data and giving feedback and handling messages. This is gives a much better experience when adding new records for example you can see the messages on what data you might be missing when you try to add a new record. The messages will be dependent on the underlying entities and what they are validating.
