On the sales order line there is a flag that you can set which is called stopped. This is handy because it allows processing of that line to be hidden for example if you mark it then you won’t be able to print a picking list for this line. This is handy if they customer isn’t on hold but there is an issue with that line for example the customer rings up and say’s they don’t want to it now. To avoid it being shipped you could stop the line until you work out the situation.
