If you are new to AX or haven’t done applied a hotfix to AX for a while sometimes there might be data upgrade scripts that have to run to change data because of new features or changes to the data model to support a fix. If you get the message “No running server is assigned to the Upgrade batch group DataUpdate” this is a refresher on where to setup that job.
