When you are working in the warehouse there are often issues that you need to correct because the physical environment change, the shipment wasn’t supposed to go, the inventory wasn’t found etc. So you need to be able to tell the system about things to get it back in line to help you plan. For example if a shipment was released but it wasn’t supposed to be you might want to delete it so it doesn’t get worked on.

Now it’s worth pointing out there are more variations of states a shipment could get into. In these examples if there was work it hadn’t started to be worked on so we’ll look at those in later examples.
