If you are managing waves and there is common patterns of the types of shipments that you add to waves manually then you can setup wave filters. This will let you define a query that you can then apply. For example you might want to look for orders for a specific customer that you ship to daily. Or you might want to look for orders that need to be expedited or orders that you want to group together.
