When setting up manufacturing execution you might want to consider the use of passwords for user login to track people aren’t sharing id. This can cause additional procedural work if this is a change. You also need to consider if you are using a touch screen or what entry mechanism the user is using to login.

If you want to enable it you can set the parameter on the MES parameters but you will have to also go through the employees and setup a password. This raises a maintenance topic which is who has access to the employee list to be able to make this change and what happens if you need to change in an emergency.
