Deleting a route step and the effect on operation relationships

In a previous post we had a look at operations relationships. You will need to consider who and how maintenance is done to routes to make sure you are aware of the effect for example when you delete data. One example is the use of operations and relations.

The way the forms present data in AX to the user it provides a lot of flexibility but it helps to understand what data you are looking at. When managing routes the form has an upper grid and a lower  grid that presents information from different tales. So if you delete data from the routes steps grid it will refresh but you may still have operation relations setup. As well if you delete operation relations then you could potentially affect quite a few routes.

Here is a quick overview.
