Production Performance PowerBI report model

In an earlier post series I talked through what you needed to have setup to use the Power BI report models, so that is a prerequisite for this overview. In this post let’s have a look at one of the report models which is the Production Performance. This report model allows you to do some analysis of production orders and their status. As well have a look at defects or report errors by products or resources. It could be a handy foundation to build on to do some analysis of what is happening in production. Depending on your mode of manufacturing it might be handy to add details in here like customers so you can see or investigate customer orders over time. As well would be good to expand to add suppliers to see if there is a relationship to defaults based on where the material came from etc. Those are types of things you could add and expand on.

Here is a quick overview of what is there in the standard one.
