There is a handy feature on the sales quote line to allow you to do some manipulation of the price and discount to see the effect of the numbers. It would be nice if the same feature was on the sales order as well so in the standard AX you would have to do quotes to use it if you didn’t want to make a modification to move this over to the sales order. This builds on any trade agreements that you have setup in the system that would be valid for this customer/prospect as the initial price/discount and then you can simulate from there.
