AX has had the ability to initiate communication through Lync and prior to that Office Communicator client for a while. Now that Lync has been updated to Skype for Business I thought I’d give it a try to see if the AX client still communications and it looks like it does. Here is a quick overview.

I don’t see Skype for Business on the official systems requirements support list at this stage so test if you use this feature before you do an update in your environment.
