In a previous post we looked at the purchase order line receiving. This works if the goods are organized on the incoming load by the purchase document but this is often not the case. An alternative is to receive by items as they are found on the load. You can do this via the purchase order item receiving menu function on the mobile device menu. In this approach the operator selects the items they have found and the system will locate the purchase line. The operator will confirm the quantity and receipt the shipment.

Is it possible to pick an item without LP and put with LP control. When i am trying to pick an item without LP, its throwing an error “Default receive location must be set on the warehouse and be license plate controlled”. As per setup, i have deactivate “Generate license plate” in Mobile device menu item and “Use license plate tracking” in Location profile. In Warehouse form attached the above location (created through location wizard) in Default receipt location but still getting the error. Also provided the Location profile in Location directive for pick. Am i missing something.
