If you are working with batches and use the batch disposition functionality it can be handy for controlling inventory for specific batches if you want to avoid selling them of if you are taking them out of inventory for quality checks. If you are using the advanced warehouse features you can use the mobile device to change the batch disposition. For example if someone in the warehouse sees the goods in the warehouse as damaged then they can scan the goods and change the batch disposition.

The menu item that you can setup is an indirect menu called changed batch disposition. You should keep in mind the default behavior of this is to change all the batch as you will see with the warning. If there is a specific quantity of goods from a specific batch that you want to block then you might want to look at some of the other inventory status options like using blocking or the inventory status to change a specific quantity.
