I did a post the other day on the new R3 call center concept of taking a sales order. This is a variation of the flow but includes the new order holds concept. The holds could be used to an internal order process where the first person takes the order then puts it on credit review or account follow-up for example. The order hold codes are self definable. There isn’t an AX workflow at the backend that drives the process from hold to hold that would have to be an agreed process between operators. The holds list pages give the operate then a view and can filter on the different orders based on a hold code.
As well the hold code can have a color associated with it. But you could use this in the holds code to alerting which holds they should look at first etc.
