If you have a large purchase order you may not want to receive all the quantity from the supplier at the one time. Instead you might want to received the quantity at a regular interval or some other schedule of deliveries. On the purchase order in Dynamics AX you can setup delivery schedule for a purchase line that you want to receive in intervals.
